Located in Carson City, NV this tattoo shop has been started by local talent, Tony Jackson.
What began as a dream is now a thriving hub for creativity, community, and connection. Founded by Tony and his partner Lezlee, Rice Street Tattoo opened its doors near downtown Carson City with a clear vision: to provide safe, modern, and accessible tattooing while serving as a platform for local support and fundraising.
Since opening on New Years Day 2019, that vision has only grown stronger. Now, in 2025, Rice Street Tattoo is proud to be home to a team of seven talented artists, each bringing their own unique style—from traditional and fine-line to black and grey realism, new school, and more.
Whether you're coming in for your first tattoo or adding to your collection, we’re here to create something meaningful in a space that feels welcoming and inclusive. Giving back to the community that supports us isn’t just part of our mission—it’s at the heart of everything we do.
GIVING BACK TO THE COMMUNITY
Tony and Lezlee knew that they had a responsibility to use the platform they’re so grateful for, to give back to the community that has given them so much.
Together, they created RST’s annual community toy drive. They work with local non-profit agencies that have communities in need. Carson City has shown its true colors time and time again, helping MANY families over the last 6+ years.
Shoetree Brewing Company created the pathway for us in the world of giving back. Shoetree created a US Open award-winning beer in honor of Tony and RST. Rice Street Lager and Shoetree Brewing Company has provided multiple non-profit events with exceptionally wonderful beer to help raise money for our community.
The last few years were a huge struggle for so many local businesses. What better way to help our fellow small business owners than to give them the gift of art. With a little extra time on their hands, the crew offered huge discounts on murals to multiple local businesses.
Over the years, we have worked with many local businesses and nonprofits to give back to our youth, homeless populations, pets in need and more. Vital Signs, Boys and Girls Club of Western Nevada, Carson Tahoe Health, Western Nevada College, NAMI, Carson City High School, Shelton Racing & Fabrication and more. We thank them all for what they have done for the community and hope you follow what these great businesses and organizations have in store.
